Immigration Compliance, Reporting, Emergencies & Legal Issues
Staying compliant with Thai immigration requirements is crucial for long-term peace of mind. I can help you manage your ongoing obligations, including 90-day reporting (TM.47) and visa extensions, helping you maintain a legal-residential status in the Land of Smiles.
And, if an emergency does happen - such as accidental overstays or a medical event, I can be your go-between to assist you with any issues.
90 Day Reporting / TM.47
For most visa types, Thai immigration regulations require submitting a report every 90 days if you’re staying in Thailand long-term. It is important to note this is NOT a visa extension but is still required to be done for any stay over 90 days. Although it can be done online, people regularly report unexplained denials, which means a trip to Chaeng Watthana to see an officer in person. I’ll guide you through the TM.47 reporting process, ensuring your paperwork is accurate and submitted on time, so you can avoid fines or disruptions to your stay, even if your submission is declined online.
Visa Extensions
Need more time in Thailand? I’ll guide you through the visa extension process, ensuring all requirements are met so you can stay longer without stress. I'll help you prepare and submit the paperwork so it’s done quickly and on the same day, with no repeat trips or long waits.
Re-Entry Permit
If you plan to travel outside Thailand while holding a long-term visa, such as a Retirement Visa (O-A/O-X), Marriage Visa, Business Visa, or Education Visa, a Re-Entry Permit is essential to keep your visa valid upon your return. Without a re-entry permit, your visa will be canceled as soon as you leave the country, requiring you to reapply. I can assist you in obtaining a single or multiple-entry permit quickly and hassle-free, ensuring your visa remains active while you travel.
Urgent Processing
Short on time? For most types of visa I am able to provide fast-track applications and urgent visa requests, so if you find yourself in a tight deadline, don't worry, just give me a call!
Emergency Extensions
I hope you never have to be in this situation - but if you need an urgent visa extension due to unforeseen circumstances, I can provide quick, reliable support to help you secure an emergency extension and stay in Thailand legally.
Overstays
Overstaying your visa can lead to fines, bans, or legal trouble. If you've overstayed it is imperative you get it resolved as soon as possible, as the longer you wait, the more legal and financial trouble you will face. So if you are in this situation please call ASAP and we can get it resolved.
Criminal/Legal Issues
Facing immigration-related legal issues can be overwhelming, and the Thai legal system is vastly different from the western system. With my expertise, I’ll help you understand your options, resolve problems efficiently, and restore your peace of mind while staying compliant with Thai laws - and if you need it, I can help you access a lawyer.
